A rough guide to Colombian salaries: The national minimum wage in Colombia is 14,000,000 pesos ($3,500) pa and an experienced senior manager in hospitality can earn around 140,000,000 pesos ($35,000) pa. Cost of living in Cartagena is variable of course, but around 3,000,000 pesos or $750 USD per month could cover rent in a central part of town in a shared apartment with groceries and an active social life.
